This is my first public release. I first started working on track 1 around 2 weeks before the release of this ep and I obsessively kept working on it. There was some type of driving force inside of me to keep on making music that I couldn't stop. While I usually do improvised 1 take drones, I decided to do something different. This time around, I decided to write things, overdub things and actually make a full ep. What originally inspired it was actually Merzbow's Venereology. I saw how he used overdubbing for some insane walls of noise instead of just improvised takes like he normally does, and I thought I could apply that to my own music.

The title Step came from the idea that this is my first release, or first "step" if you will into truly making and releasing music.
